Many people need to grieve but don’t know how. They often turn to books and seminars to learn about grief, but thinking about grief and actually grieving are not the same.
We heal best when we move our bodies to release the tension stored in our tissues, become mindful of our needs and the pain we are experiencing, and are supported by a loving community. Our monthly grief group, “Grieving Consciously,” incorporates movement, mindfulness, and community support to help heal broken hearts.
Each month we’ll have a movement practice, a mindfulness practice, and a chance to connect with one another. Please wear clothing that you would normally wear for yoga practice. Also you will want to bring:
